Our Goals

For more than 20 years, Universal Companies has been working to make Philadelphia a better place to live. We've built affordable housing, set up case management programs and started four charter schools

Although we all believe that our children are our future, kids don’t just grow up by themselves. They have families struggling to put food on the table, clothes on their backs and a roof over their heads that doesn’t leak. So our Promise Neighborhood will have the schools at its heart, but we will not ignore the parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who make up our families. We have a plan for real estate and economic investment. And we will use our schools as centers for adult education on health care, nutrition and exercise. For families who need other kinds of help, we will be there too with case management and social service support.
